Interesting. Had not thought about people giving shots and involved in distribution be representative of those communities. Obviously makes sense and has impact!

Anyone heard of the month of action? Just herd of it. Wonder how we can get the aging and disability network involved?

Will the recording for the Faiths4Vaccines National Summit webinar be shared here so we share it with our partners?

The Faiths4Vaccines initiative is participating in the National Vaccine Month of Action. The faith community is needed more than ever to ensure vaccine acceptance. As a part of “loving thy neighbour,” we call on you to include messaging in at least one sermon during this campaign sermon regarding the importance of vaccines as a way to save lives and to encourage those in your communities who are hesitant to receive the vaccine to get vaccinated during this month of action.
In addition to including messaging in your sermon, we would like you to consider the following:
1. Partner with your local health officials or pharmacies to utilize your house of worship as a vaccination site.
2. Become a “vaccine ambassador” by using the full range of communications resources of your house of worship to spread the message on the importance of the vaccine or become a “vaccine navigator” by mobilizing volunteers to support vaccination efforts in your community.
3. Share your vaccination experience! Record a testimony on why you chose to receive the vaccine or on what your congregation is doing and send it to Faiths4Vaccines to be featured on our website.
The attached flyer contains additional ways you and your congregation can get involved in the Month of Action.
