Following the discussion on housing services models, partnerships, and financing strategies, what questions do you have for other CCHs?

During the January 12, 2023 Network Expansion Track meeting we learned how several CCHs are approaching addressing housing needs in their communities. What else would you like to learn from your peers? What would you like to hear more about?

Have any of the Advantage plans the hubs are working with publicized any new supplemental benefits or other new services for 2023 that you can share?  Would be interested to hear what gaps or needs the plans are looking to address.

Dave Crocker One of the MA health plans we are working with is contracting with us to address Falls Prevention, Caregiver Support, Meal Delivery, enhanced Nutrition Counseling, SDoH screening/care coordination, and Healthy IDEAS to address social isolation as some of their SSBCI benefits.

Hi! On a mission level, we 100% see the need to have an impact on housing. I'm interested in learning more about the business strategy behind the housing focus and how we can engage health care insurers and providers to fund us to impact this area

Is there a communication HUD could provide to local HUD offices and out to HUD 202 operators that encourages collaboration with AAAs, perhaps specifically around encouraging wellness programming and other AAA opportunities. With the ability to increase more locations for classes and reaching plan members, more health plans and other entities may consider paying for member participation.  thank you!

Does the Bay Aging Housing operate in a separate legal entity from the AAA established in 1978. If so, how is the board for the housing entity structured.  Is it a separate 501c3?
