Here is today’s Monday Mailer for you:
Artificial Intelligence in Information & Referral/Assistance Survey
The National Information & Referral (I&R) Support Center invites aging and disability Information & Referral/Assistance (I&R/A) agencies (including state aging and disability agencies, area agencies on aging, aging and disability resource centers, centers for independent living, and other I&R/Community Navigation programs) to take a short survey on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in I&R/A programs. This survey seeks to understand how I&R/A programs are currently using, or considering, AI tools, and what policies and practices are in place. Results will help inform peer learning and highlight trends in the field. All agencies are encouraged to participate, whether they are currently using or piloting AI tools, exploring potential applications, or not using AI at this time. For efficiency and consistency, each agency is asked to coordinate and submit a single response to the survey by April 25, 2026. Complete the survey here.
Rural Health Transformation Program: State Focus on Aging
The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program supports states in strengthening rural communities across America by transforming healthcare delivery to improve access, quality, and outcomes. Through innovative system-wide change, the RHT Program invests in the rural healthcare delivery ecosystem that serve current and future generations. The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) reviewed RHT Program applications to identify key areas in which states proposed to address rural health and aging. Read “Rural Health Transformation Program: State Focus on Aging” here.
You can also join USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute, in partnership with ATI Advisory, for their “Advancing Rural Health Transformation: The Role of the Aging Network” webinar on April 23 at 1:00 PM ET.
