New ACL Award Expands National Resources and Support for Lifespan Respite Care

ACL’s Lifespan Respite Care Program’s Technical Assistance and Resource Center (TARC) provides training, technical assistance, and resources to State Lifespan Respite Care Program grantees, their partners, caregivers, and the broader respite care network. Because of the shared philosophy of No Wrong Door and Lifespan Respite – to promote collaboration among stakeholders with the goal of improving access to services for all – states can benefit from making connections between the two efforts. Learn more about the Resource Center here.

November is National Veterans and Military Families Month!

Are you aware of the many services that are available to Veterans who contact your No Wrong Door system? Healthcare at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is built around Veterans’ unique needs and experiences, with comprehensive care that recognizes their service and supports their health and well-being. Through the Choose VA campaign, VA is helping more Veterans understand what is available to them by answering eligibility questions, addressing common misconceptions, and explaining how to get started.
