Catherine Zontine and Victoria Heller attended the 2025 National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Annual Conference in Washington, DC. As valuable members of the No Wrong Door Technical Assistance team, Victoria and Catherine work to support states, draft the Monday Mailer, and support many other products and resources. The conference provided new ideas for ways to support aging and disability partnerships in No Wrong Door systems. Check out this existing resource and be on the lookout for more!

Other Items
The state of Maryland launched Longevity Ready Maryland, the state’s first comprehensive, 10-year multisector plan to coordinate services and policies that support Maryland’s growing population of older adults.
Longevity Ready Maryland is a collaborative, long-term plan that supports the work of service providers by consolidating resources; coordinating efforts across government, businesses, and communities; and transforming systems of care to accommodate a greater number of older Marylanders more sustainably. Maryland Department of Aging will work to encourage collaboration between state agencies, support local initiatives, and improve access to home- and community-based services.
In addition to planning for the future, Longevity Ready Maryland coordinates and builds on actions already underway across the state to expand access to vital support services, including modernizing Maryland Access Point, the state's No Wrong Door network, to increase outreach for older adults and family caregivers.
