Title VI Afternoon Chat Recap
The Title VI Afternoon Chat held on August 14th focused on No Wrong Door systems. No Wrong Door provides a coordinated way for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers to access the services and supports they need to live in their communities. The chat explored the basics of the No Wrong Door vision, provided examples of integration with Title VI programs, and highlighted support available from the No Wrong Door Resource Center. Wisconsin shared their work with Title VI and No Wrong Door, focusing on their efforts to improve collaboration, training, and multidisciplinary teaming between their ADRC network, county-based Adult Protective Services agencies, and the 11 Tribal nation partner agencies. Finally, the No Wrong Door Resource Center heard from participants about the support needed to facilitate stronger Title VI participation in No Wrong Door systems.
