Maryland: Senior Call Check Program

Description: Call Check participants receive an automated phone call once a day, in an hour they pre-schedule. If they don't pick up the phone after three attempts, the service notifies a relative, friend or neighbor to check on them. If that person doesn't pick up, the service alerts local police or the sheriff's office to do so instead. The program can also send text messages. It is available for free for Maryland residents 65 and older.
