Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month comes to a close at the end of March. The intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) network is a key part of a robust No Wrong Door system which serves all populations. For information on legislative milestones and key players in the I/DD network, check out this resource on Understanding Key No Wrong Door Partners: I/DD Network. For examples of ways to promote integration of the I/DD network into a No Wrong Door system, check out the I/DD Integration Checklist.

Inform USA Webinar

Information and referral professionals and aging network staff play a critical role in helping older adults understand what recent policy changes may mean for their Medicaid coverage and services. Inform USA is hosting a webinar, “Decoding H.R.1: What’s in the Law and the Potential Impact for Older Adults,” on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET. This session will review the major Medicaid provisions included in H.R. 1, also known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). It will explore how states may approach the new federal requirements differently and discuss anticipated impacts on older adults who rely on Medicaid for coverage and long-term services and supports, as well as caregivers.
