Description: This slide deck by the SCAN Foundation details the findings of an analysis using 2015 Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS). This analysis includes Medicare beneficiaries of all ages, including disabled individuals younger than 65, and includes individuals who died during the study year. Long-stay nursing home residents are excluded. In 2015, 1.9 million Medicare beneficiaries were long-stay nursing home residents.
