National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers NOFO

  • ACL is pleased to announce the second round of funding to support statewide implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers. ACL will award four cooperative agreements to state units on aging (SUAs) to undertake a range of activities in response to this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Each project will be fully funded for a period of 24 months with one, 24-month budget of up to $490,000. Applications are due Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Learn more and apply here. Bridging I/DD and Mental Health Systems

Join The Link Center for shared learning groups on systems change and the importance of partnerships in bridging intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) and mental health systems on July 22nd and 23rd. People with I/DD, brain injuries and other disabilities, and co-occurring mental health conditions need support for their whole well-being. These sessions will focus on partnerships between people with lived experience, families, professionals, and systems advocates to influence health systems and the community. There are four sessions on the same topic, each for a different target audience. Registration is required and is limited to 200 participants per session. Register using the links below:


Assistive Technology

  • Join the Disability Employment Technical Assistance Center (DETAC) for a special webinar on July 8th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. ET in honor of the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), with a focus on how technology is shaping the future of accessibility. The webinar panel from the Assistive Technology Act Technical Assistance and Training Center (AT3 Center) will focus on increasing access to and acquisition of assistive technology (AT) tools across the lifespan. The panel will share examples of how AT is a critical bridge to breaking down barriers and providing innovative approaches for independence within the workplace and the broader community.
