Measuring Performance

• WellSky is hosting a webinar on June 17th at 2pm ET to share findings from the National Core Indicators—Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD™) Adult Consumer Survey and the State of the Workforce Survey. The webinar will explore how individuals experience publicly funded services and how states can use the data to support system improvements. Register here.

  An indicator of note for state No Wrong Door systems: The Adult Consumer Survey asks how respondents first found out about services they can get. In the most recent report, only 9% of respondents (national weighted average) reported that they first found out about services through an aging and disability resource center, area agency on aging, or center for independent living. 

Caregiver Corner

• The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) recently published a blog on Promising Practices in State Caregiving Websites. States can play an important role in creating more access to information for family caregivers. Through state websites on caregiving, states can direct caregivers toward the support and services they might need. NASHP completed a scan of every state’s family caregiving website. They identified the key elements of a quality state caregiving website and examples of each element from strong state websites.

Multisector Plans for Aging and No Wrong Door

• A new Generations article explores how states are using Multisector Plans for Aging (MPAs) to build more coordinated, age-friendly ecosystems, including through No Wrong Door initiatives. Drawing on recent developments and implementation insights, the article highlights how MPAs are helping states align cross-sector efforts, reduce service silos, and respond proactively to the growing needs of older adults, caregivers, and people with disabilities—all of which directly align with No Wrong Door goals.
